Artists (and you all are artists) stop pinning projects for “someday”. Choose one from your Pinterest board, step away from your computer, and go and DO one of the “somedays”. CREATE something!
Every day find something inspirational, positive, anything that just moves you. Post it Facebook or start a Pinterest board for it. At the end of the year, you will have a whole wall of soul-fulfillment.
Stop making resolutions based on the negative. Instead of resolving to “lose” weight, resolve to eat healthier. Make positive promises to yourself and make them achievable. Promise to drink more water every day, go for walks, even short ones, and dedicate 15 minutes every day for yourself.
Revel in your Bliss! You don’t have a Bliss yet? Well then find it! The search can be a fun trip. Try different crafts, garden, volunteer, research something that interest you. Find your Passion!
Dance. Every. Damn. Day.
Be pleasant to people. Be polite even under the worst circumstances. The world is running out of manner and I intend to help load it up again. Set a good example, if only for yourself.
Donate. Time, money, things. Give these to someone who needs them, whether it is a charitable organization or an elderly person in your neighborhood. Somewhere out there is someone who NEEDS you.
Learn more things. It does not have to be something big although if you really want to learn to speak Mandarin, go right ahead, more power to you. Learn to cook something different. Finally learn to crochet. Learn how your plumbing works. Make your own computer graphics, decorate cupcakes, learn the US military alphabet or master the art of cheese making.
Remember that every day is a new day, a new beginning, a chance to start fresh, not just on New Year’s Day.
